Buongiorno Ragazze, sono Giorgia, e come succede ogni tanto mi sono impossessata del blog di mamma.
Sono a Cherso da Venerdì e l'aspettativa era alta: tornare dalla mia compagnia ed essere scambiata per una venditrice di asciugamani ma, fortuna ha voluto, che un tifone malesiano sbagliasse coordinate geografiche e si abbattesse su di noi.
Che giuoia.
Good morning, everyone, I'm Giorgia, and I'm the guest poster on my mother's blog.
I'm in Cherso since friday and I really wanted to tan but my luck brought here three days of storm.
Yes, I'm SO happy.
Complice quindi il maltempo e la nascita del maschietto di una mia cara amica (sì, oddio, un figlio. E io passo ancora i pomeriggi a mangiare sul divano guardando Dmax o giocando ai Pokèmon. Certe notizie ti lasciano un po'..spiazzata ma felice e con una strana amara consapevolezza che si sta inesorabilmente crescendo. Che ansia.) è nato Ringo.
So since I was home from beach and I had nothing to do and one of my closest friends had a baby ( Yes, a baby. I use to spend my afternoons eating, watching tv shows and playng Pokèmon. Some stuff that happens always left me that bitter consciousness that time is passing by and I'm growing up. Argh.) I gave birth to Ringo.
Partiamo per punti:
1. Lei ama i Leoni, specialmente il "Re Leone", quindi ho pensato che fosse perfetto come fiocco nascita per un maschietto.
2. L'ho disegnato e realizzato interamente io (tranne per la questione "cucire a macchina" poichè mamma ha piazzato trappole anti orso attorno alla sua amata Janome) quindi ho pensato fosse doppiamente speciale
3. Si chiama Ringo perchè ha il ciuffo da Beatles e nessuno considera mai il povero Ringo Star.
(Ho guardato troppe volte "500 days of Summer" non lo posso negare)
4. E' adorabilmente morbidoso e snodabile. Già immagino il piccolo che ci sbava amorevolmente sopra.
Tenero lui. E' a prova di bambino, ho guidato io il Crash-Test e l'ho testato. E' resistito a me.
Indistruttibile, gente.
1. She loves lions and she's obsessed with "The Lion King" so I thought it was perfect to be hung out of the door when the child was born. There are no many of these thing for boys.
2. The pattern was completely made by myself (Except sewing it by mahine because my mother would probably kill everyone who just dares looking to her Janome) because I thought it was extremely special.
3. His name is Ringo because he has the Beatle's hairstyle, and no one ever consider Ringo Star.
(Yes, I obviously watched "500 days of Summer" too many times, my fault.)
4. He's extremely soft and you can't stop cuddling him. I can imagine the new born hugging him.
So cute. He can resist kid, I made the Crash-Test and he survived me.
Absolutely indistructible. Yep.
Una mattina, alcuni giorni fa, nella cucina incantata, davanti ad una ricca colazione fatta di caffè solubile e cheesecake in scatola le due fatine parlavano della nascita del piccolo Matthew.
Con un sguardo d'intendimento entrambe ebbero la sessa idea e la più gioane corse a disegnare il prototipo sulla sua pergamena.
Dopo tre giorni e tre notti di duro lavoro, nacque Ringo.
Once upon a Morning, in the fairy kitchen, while eating this extremely yummy breakfast composed by american coffee and cheesecake-in-a-box the two little fairies were talking about the birth of Matthew.
They had the same thought so the youngest one made the draft.
After three days and three night of hard work, they give birth to Ringo.
(So proud!)
Alla fine la moda dei pois ha colpito anche me.
Questo non è comunque il primo lavoro che faccio, dopo l'esperienza di diversi costumi cosplay e del mio primo peluche, Polly (che potete vedere qui ahah), Ringo è il primo lavoro serio ispirato a quelli che mia madre fa sempre.
Ho pensato, spudoratamente, di farne un cartamodello perchè non ho visto praticamente fiocchi nascita per maschietti.
E siamo anche entrati nel segno del leone.

By the way tis is not my first work, after the experience of many cosplay costumes and my first plushie, Polly (you can see her here ahah), Ringo is my first work totally inspired to my mother's works.
I decided to realize the pdf pattern as well because It is adorable and perfect for boy's births.
And we're in the Lion's zodiac sign now.
Eh eh eh.
Essendo stato realizzato da una principiante è estremamente facile da realizzare.
E' stato comunque un onore poterne finalmente crearne uno mio poichè dietro alla traduzione inglese e la digitalizzazione del pattern dei lavori di mamma mi nascondo io.
Facendo quindi tesoro delle conoscenze acquisite ho potuto comunque realizzarne uno che fosse sia professionale sia che si adattasse alla mia personalità.

Since the pattern it's made by me (and I'm a beginner) it's extremely easy to realize.
I'm so proud that I had the chance to realize something all by myself because behind my mother's digital pattern and english translation there was me.
So with the experience I gain doing this work I realized a patter which is both professional and shaped on my personality.

Lavorando in prima persona al progetto ho comunque capito quanto sforzo e lavoro ci sia dietro ad ogni creazione, ho sempre pensato fosse un lavoro "facile" ma mi sono resa conto che è ben lungi dall'essere così.
Working to this project I understood the struggle and the hard work there's behind every creation, I always thought it was an "easy work" but I totally had to change my mind: it's not like this.
So che mamma ha tolto i commenti perché a causa della connessione ballerina è difficile rispondere a tutti quindi vi ringrazio anticipatamente per aver letto o sorriso al musetto di Ringo.
Anche lui vi vuole bene.
